E L James has finally come clean about what she really thinks about the recent 50 Shades Of Grey film setbacks, including Charlie Hunnam‘s dramatic departure…
The film hasn’t got off to the easiest start, with the Sons Of Anarchy star pulling out of the lead role several months ago. However, we’re more than happy with his hotter-than-hot replacement – hunky 31-year old Irishman, Jamie Dornan.
‘It was disappointing, but it is what it is’, James said of Charlie’s shock exit. ‘I wish him well. And now we have Jamie [Dornan], and that’s great. It’s been interesting with Jamie, [the fan reaction] has been so positive.’
The British author also admitted being nervous ahead of the film’s highly-anticipated release date, which has just been delayed another six months to February 2015 (boo!).
‘I’m terrified’, James said about starting work on the movie, which will begin shooting in Vancouver in the coming weeks. ‘Completely. I’ve been terrified from the moment I published the book.
‘My mother was terrified of everything, and so am I. It’s a terrible way to grow up. You don’t expect this kind of success. Even now it floors me.’
The first ever snaps of Jamie and his gorgeous co-star Dakota Johnson playing the sexy Christian Grey and Ana Steele were also featured in the US mag, officially preparing us for the erotic filth-fest that’s coming up.
We can’t WAIT.
