David Beckham could be turning bad boy if the rumours that he’s set to play the villain in new spy movie The Secret Service are true.
According to The Sun, the handsome ex ball-kicker is being considered for a cameo role in the upcoming comic book film starring Colin Firth, Sir Michael Caine and Samuel L Jackson.
“Becks was asked by Colin Firth if he’d like to be in the movie but he is yet to fully commit”, a source told the newspaper. “He loves movies and fancies appearing on the big screen – but just as a one-off, not a full-time career.”
And Goldenballs better get practising his best evil cackle, as director Matthew Vaughn is said to have a villanous role already pencilled in for the 38-year-old dad-of-four. Bad boy Becks on the big screen? We’re pre-booking our tickets now.
Wife Victoria has already tipped her footballer hubby for Hollywood movie success, gushing about Becks just last month: “I think he would be really good at acting. He’d be a great James Bond.”
Bond, bad boy villain, boy-next-door type who walks around topless… We’re not fussy. Just get that beautiful face in front of the camera ASAP.
