The 38-year-old former England captain revealed that despite taking after designer mum Victoria in the style stakes (DMs and a pink frock? Mini fashionista-in-the-making!), two-year-old Harper is also showing some serious talent when it comes to sports.
‘Harper’s skills are coming on pretty well’, the proud dad told the Metro. ‘We’ll see if she wants to follow in my footsteps or not, she loves playing it with the boys.’
But while the dad-of-four might be beaming about his little girl’s love of a kick-about with the lads, there’s no denying he’ll be keeping a close eye on her as she grows up.
When asked about the possibility of her dating once she’s old enough, an overprotective Becks replied: ‘Absolutely not.’
‘She’s not going out’, he joked to The Sun. ‘She’s going to be like Rapunzel – up in the tower.’
‘To have a daughter is a whole different story,’ he added when comparing bringing up Harper to sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz. ‘I’m not saying I love my daughter more, but boys are independent.’
We hate to break it to you, Becks… but Harps is going to be a little heartbreaker.
