The Truth About The ‘Attack’ On Daniel From First Dates

UPDATE: It has now come to our attention that, in a new interview with Guys Like U, Daniel has admitted: ‘I feel very ashamed to say this – but I feel this is the right thing to do – yes, it was a lie…’

After appearing on Channel 4’s First Dates, Daniel claimed that he was the subject of a nasty homophobic attack.

Taking to Twitter to share a selfie of his injuries, the reality contestant tweeted, ‘I was attacked on the way home…. “Oi… Your that f****t off the tv”‘.

His followers and fans of the show were quick to jump to his defense, with many urging him to go to the police. One said, ‘that’s terrible. Have you reported the vile people that did this?’ 

Daniel replied, ‘It was dark and I have no idea who they are’.

Previously speaking to Attitude about the ‘attack’, the First Dates dater said that he was walking home when he heard two men shouting at him.

According to his original claims, they asked if he was the ‘f****t off the TV’ and Daniel replied, ‘Well I am a f****t and I was on TV yes… at which point he punched me’.
