After selling their beloved Beckingham Palace for a modest £9.5 million last month, the couple is thought to have BIG plans for their next family home near Kensington Palace.
And they’re even taking some of their LA traditions with them, with rumoured plans to have a kitted-out panic room (like in the movies) in the West London building.
‘Security is a concern and the new house had a soundproof panic room,’ a source told The Mirror.
Adding: ‘It may sound OTT but they are actually the norm in Los Angeles.’
But it could be a while before Posh and Becks actually move into the seven-bedroom mansion with three sons, Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo, and two-year-old daughter Harper, as the house isn’t expected to be ready until late 2014. Wah.
There’s plenty to look forward to though, with the swanky five-story home said to include an underground spa, a pool, an indoor cinema, library, underground car park, and, erm, ‘staffed massage rooms’.
And although the city house doesn’t boast a mashoosive garden to match their old home in Hertfordshire, they’ve still managed to squeeze in a small AstroTurf pitch for a family kick-around. Phew, Brooklyn will be happy.
‘David and Victoria want everything perfect. It will be unique,’ the source said.
It all sounds pretty dreamy from here. Sigh.
