The mum-of-three explains why there was a spelling mistake in husband Wayne's Instagram post...
Coleen and Wayne Rooney celebrated a very special day yesterday… it was their eldest son Kai’s seventh birthday!
The couple marked the special occasion with a series of Instagram posts, with 30-year-old Coleen captioning a collage of cute photos: ‘Happy 7th Birthday to our Kai!! Have the best day, love you loads!!! ππππβ€οΈ.’

But unfortunately for the footballer, people couldn’t help pointing out a bit of an awkward error in his snap.
In the background, a light box reading ‘Happy Birhtday Kai’ could be seen. And yes, we mean ‘birhtday’. Oops.
One wrote: ‘Birhtday haha,’ while others said: ‘You plum you spelt it wrong,’ and: ‘Spelt birthday wrong.’

Coleen and Wayne Rooney have three children together
A little harsh to point out, no? We mean, we’re sure it was just an innocent mistake.
Coleen – who’s also mum to youngest son Kit – has since explained that this was the case, hitting back on Twitter: ‘Thanks for all your lovely birthday wishes for Kai! Hahaha I know the sign was spelt wrong … it was dropped and quickly put back together.’
Easily done when you’ve got three children in tow, lady! Send a big belated happy birthday to Kai from us.
