Chrissy Teigen is not afraid to fight for what she believes in, and this week, she has made us fall even more in love with her in an amazing response to Nicole Arbour’s ‘Dear Fat People’ video.
Speaking to People, Chrissy said:
“Yes, Nicole, there is such a thing as fat-shaming, and you’re doing it right now. The worst thing about the Nicole Arbour thing is this has made her head even bigger somehow. On her Twitter and social media, she is living for this moment. We’ve just given her this platform to feel like her opinion does matter. So, no matter if we’re talking negatively about it or positively, she’s winning.”
This isn’t the first time Chrissy has taken down negative people either. The model recently sent a clear message to her cyber bullies: ‘Don’t tag me in it!’ The 29 year old admitted to reading ’99.5 percent’ of her users’ comments, but is fed up of the nasty remarks made by trolls.
Chrissy, who has a 3 million strong social media following, compared trolling to fat shaming: ‘It’s almost like fu*king walking up to somebody, or going to somebody’s house, knocking on the door and being like, “You’re fat.”’ Chrissy didn’t stop there though, she added: ‘I don’t know if they think they’re ballsy or what. But if you’re going to speak negatively about me, just do me a favour and don’t tag me in it.’
She then went on to joke about where some users thought these comment went, ‘I think that people think that when they send you things, it goes off into space and you don’t care’ she said. But what really gets Chrissy is when she replies back. ‘The worst is when you respond and they’re like, “Oh I didn’t think you would read that! I love you! Oh my god!”’, she said.

Chrissy refuses to let her trolls win and ditch technology altogether. She says her phone is her ‘little security blanket,’ and often takes to social media to update her fans on her silly shenanigans whether behind the scenes on a shoot or and on a date with her husband, John Legend and yummy insta-food snaps.
Only recently the model took to twitter to silence critics who said she was promoting eating disorders, after she revealed her greatest guilty pleasure is leaking artificial cheese off a Dorito, and then putting the crisp back in the bag. “I wasn’t honestly saying licking the seasoning off doritos is my idea of diet, you morons,” she tweeted.
Oh Chrissy, we love you.
