The reality star has slammed 'outrageous' and 'shocking' claims on Twitter...
The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Lewis does not seem particularly impressed right now.
The 26-year-old has hit back at reports surrounding a charity bike ride, which was set up in memory of fitness writer Nicki Waterman.
According to The Sun, a source revealed that Chloe had ‘completely blanked all calls and texts about the ride’, allegedly pulling out the day before the rest of the group set off in Kerala, India.
Chloe has fiercely denied the rumours, defending herself on her Twitter account.
The reality star announced to her 301,000 followers: ‘Outrageous on your behalf! You should get your facts straight before making up stories. Absolutely shocking!’
Her fans were quick to weigh in, with many wanting to know more about the situation.
Denise Van Outen, who took part in the charity event, appears to have backed up the original claims, taking to her own Twitter account to reply: ‘…No apology to our team and no message of support. True story’.
Denise – whose voice rings out at the start of each TOWIE episode – opened up about the meaningful bike ride during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine on Thursday. She spoke of her late friend and said: ‘We were very close and I miss her dearly and I wanted to do something in her memory.’
At this time, Chloe doesn’t appear to have responded any further.
According to the Daily Mail, she previously stated that ‘visa issues’ were standing in her way of taking part.
Denise has been posting about the event on Instagram, along with information about how to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
We hope that this important and heartfelt message can supersede any drama that might be unfolding on social media.
