Cheryl Hits Back At *Those* Claims Of A Rift With Simon Cowell

Cheryl has revealed *truth* about those claims of joining Strictly Come Dancing...

Would The X Factor even *be* The X Factor if a new series didn’t bring with it a surrounding talk of bust ups, judging-feuds and broken friendships? Pshh, we think not.

And so, it’s that time of year again. A new X Factor series is upon us, bringing with it a good ol’ judging panel switch up…

The 2016 panel is a bit of a blast from the past- as Cheryl, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora have *all* jumped ship, to be replaced former-judges by Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger.

Following the confirmation of the new panel, many reports have emerged alluding to a pretty massive feud between head-judge Simon Cowell and ex-judge Cheryl. Oh, those two…

#xfactor returns again tonight at 8pm itv ????

In fact, these allegations have *even* reported Chezza to be in talks with Strictly Come Dancing, now that her Saturday nights are completely freed up- and, anyone with a slight knowledge of The X Factor will know that this spells major Simon Cowell betrayal.

In fact, a TV insider had shared that: ‘Getting Cheryl would be amazing for Strictly. They want to make sure they keep thrashing X Factor in the ratings… If they got Cheryl to take part all of her fans would stop watching X Factor and start tuning in to Strictly, giving them an even bigger lead when it comes to viewing figures’.

Yep, things were looking bad.

However, we needn’t have worried. Of *course* Cheryl wasn’t going to play Simon like that… In fact, Chez has slammed the reports as being ‘nonsense’,  with a rep sharing: ‘This is absolute nonsense. Cheryl is not going to be on Strictly’.
This isn’t the only rumour Chez has had to iron out this week, having taken to Twitter on Tuesday to Tweet ‘Nope’. And don’t worry, you’re not the only one confused by this…

However, in a later Tweet Cheryl explained she was actually clearing up some rumours that her new single had been leaked- sharing ‘not my song they’re saying has leaked’.

Crikey. There’s no rest for the famous, eh?
