Following the wonderful news that Cheryl and Liam welcomed their son into the world, there has been much speculation over their plans for the first months...
Over the weekend, the news of Cheryl and Liam’s first baby was finally announced, with the proud parents revealing that they’d welcomed a son.
And whilst we’re still not too sure why the baby news didn’t call for a national bank holiday – because, c’mon, it really should have done – we’ve been utterly made up for the couple ever since.
Taking to her Instagram account on Saturday, Cheryl confirmed the news of her baby boy – sharing a snap of Liam and his son with the caption: ‘On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream’.
Cheryl continued, ‘We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival. Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world’.
Following Cheryl and Liam’s wonderful weekend, much speculation has began circulating over the couple’s possible plan for the first few months with their newborn.
In an updated report surrounding the baby news, it is being alleged that Cheryl may be receiving some guidance on motherhood from her own mother, Joan Callaghan.
Currently, it’s being reported that Cheryl has possibly moved her mum into her and Liam’s Surrey mansion to help them adjust to parenthood.
Speaking to The Sun, a source has shared: ‘Joan will be very much on hand to help out Cheryl and Liam during the early stages of the baby’s life’.
The source then added, ‘It’s not going to be forever, but Joan has a room in the house and will be staying for however long she’s needed’.
Whilst plans for Joan to help with the new baby might be in action, it’s also possible that Chezza and Liam are planning on just going at parenthood on their own.
After a similar report emerged back in December of last year, Cheryl (who was pregnant at the time) had her reps deny the claims of Joan moving into her home with Liam.
A representative told The Sun at the time: ‘The story of Joan moving in with Liam and Cheryl is fabricated. There is no truth to it’.
Either way, we’re absolutely over the moon for Cheryl, Liam and their family on their newest arrival!
Now, where’s our bank holiday?!
