New music? Check.
New man? Check.
Cheryl‘s got it all going on right now, and we think you’ll agree that she’s looking happier than ever.
The Geordie songstress has quit her judging role on the X Factor to work on her fifth solo album, and she’s been teasing us with new music for a while.
And now we’re hearing that Craig David (yup, only our FAVE ’00s comeback star) is hoping to work with her.
Errr. Please let this happen.
Speaking to Digital Spy, the 7 Days singer – who recently came back with a banger featuring grime artist Big Narstie – revealed: ‘I went into the studio with White N3rd – who produced One More Time – and we actually wrote two songs.
‘But one in particular I think leant more for Cheryl.’
What a tease. He revealed: ‘It’s just a very simple pop melody over a garage tune that has the right drops in the right places without being too light.’
Craig isn’t sure whether Chezza is planning on doing anything with the track, but he said that he has ‘sent it over to her…’
He added: ‘…so I guess when she knows what kind of direction she wants to go in for the record, she may decide to cut it. If not, then it was a really good song that we wrote anyway.’
We don’t know about you, but this is one collaboration that we’d want to hear.
What do you think?
