Cheryl Cole‘s giant new rose tattoo has been the subject of much debate on Twitter and Facebook this morning as Girls Aloud fans have their say on the star’s new body art.
Cheryl unveiled the inking in a skimpy outfit on stage at the first Girls Aloud reunion concert in Newcastle last night. The tattoo, which features two huge red roses, is her tenth inking and is thought to have taken a whopping 10-11 hours to create.
He said: “The tattoo that Cheryl has is large so this would take around 10-11 hours, give or take. The cost would vary depending on the tattoo artist but the ball park figure price would be around £80-100 pounds an hour. It’s a very painful area so would take two to three sittings – even if you do have a high pain threshold.”
Ouchy! Cheryl has been keeping a low profile the last few months and hasn’t rocked the red carpet since the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in December, so it’s no wonder we failed to spot the new inking.
But Kevin adds that it might not be finished yet. ‘What, there’s more?’, we hear you cry. Yep.
He says: “It looks like there may still be some areas to be finished on her tattoo so it could be that she is in between sittings. This tattoo is a cover-up – they have covered over her old tattoo. This is quite tricky to do and tends to take longer.”
