Cheryl Cole returned to her hometown of Newcastle with her Girls Aloud bandmates last night, unveiling a huge new body inking on her back.
The star wore a sixties-inspired monochrome crop top and trousers for one song and as she turned around, a huge rose tattoo – which covers the majority of her lower back, could be seen by the audience.
Cheryl’s always been a fan of body art. She now has ten tattoos in total and the inking of two large entwined roses sits just above another tribal tattoo on the bottom of her spine.
It’s thought to have taken a whopping 11 hours to complete. Ouch!
Last night’s concert saw the girls perform some of their most successful hits as they kicked off their reunion tour. They’re being supported by X Factor runner-up Amelia Lily.
Cheryl tweeted last night: “I wish I could find the words to express how I feel right now!! Newcastle was perfect! I ❤U! Thank you #proudgeordie #tentour.” (sic)
