Cheryl Cole fans proved they’re the loudest and proudest as Girls Aloud stepped out for one of their first reunion interviews yesterday.
Fans started singing the Girls’ new track ‘Something New’ as they arrived at the Radio 1 studios, but it’s the chants of Cheryl’s name that got our attention.
Cheryl has carved herself a successful solo career since parting ways with Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts, so its no surprise that it was her that fans were most excited to see.
And they weren’t the only ones – by the sounds of the photographers’ chants, it was Ms Cole, and Ms Cole only that they wanted a cheeky snap of.
Following their interview with Nick Grimshaw, Cheryl tweeted: “I had Soooo much fun today with @GirlsAloud #MemoryLane #LoveMyGirls” (sic)
All the gang will perform together for the first time in three years at Children In Need on Friday night. We can’t wait! Check out the video of the Girls reunited below, then scroll through our amazing 100-pic gallery of the gang over the years. RM
