Cher Lloyd is back in the UK, and naturally her former mentor is a hot topic of conversation...
Cher Lloyd has come a long way since she first brought her swag on to the X Factor stage back in 2010.
Her rendition of Keri Hilson’s version of Soulja Boy’s Turn My Swag On caused Cheryl to leap out of her judging chair and exclaim ‘you’re right up my street!’
And it’s safe to say that the UK did the same from their sofas at home.
What a CLASSIC X Factor moment.
Cher came fourth during her year on the ITV talent competition, and made it to number one with her hit Swagger Jagger.
Next, she moved to America and found success overseas.
But now, she’s back. And she’s given her latest UK interview to Loose Women.
You might remember that there were an awful lot of rumours surrounding a spat with her former mentor, but Cher has revealed that it’s all good between them now.
The 23-year-old, who’s had quite the makeover for her UK return, told the panel: ‘We made up ages ago, I got married and she tweeted me and then when she got married I tweeted her.
‘I’d hope to bump into her. There was never really an issue, but back when I was 16, this gob…’
Cher continued, ‘I thought I knew everything.
‘I just thought, “I’ve just left school, I know what I want to do now,” and quickly I learnt that I didn’t know everything.’
These days, Cheryl has put her X Factor days behind her, and is happily dating One Direction’s Liam Payne.
But we’d sure love to see these ladies reunite…
