Since being stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after having sex on TV, Zara Holland has been protesting the unfairness of it all.
But Charlotte Crosby – who’s also done some, erm, outlandish things on the telly in the name of entertainment on Geordie Shore – has waded in to the debate. Is she supporting Zara in a show of reality TV sisterhood? Well, in a word, no. She’s actually in favour of Zara losing her title.R
‘I think it’s a shame, she’s a lovely girl and I’d feel very sorry for her,’ Charlotte told the MailOnline. ‘I can tell being Miss GB meant a lot to her but I do feel being a beauty queen you have to be a certain person.’
According to Charlotte, getting frisky in front of the nation isn’t compatible with the Miss Great Britain values of world peace.
‘You have to be the perfect girl and its all about world peace and you have to be the best you can possibly be,’ she continued.
‘So I do think with that in mind, Zara shouldn’t have gone on a reality TV show. I think it was a bad decision in the first place to even go on.’
Charlotte, who quit Geordie Shore earlier in June, gave her take on the situation as she promoted her new clothing line for InTheStyle.
Ever since being unceremoniously dumped by the big bosses behind Miss Great Britain, Zara has been fighting back.
She said last week that she was only doing what any other single girl her age would do.
‘There is nothing wrong with having sex on TV!’ she told The Sun. ‘I knew what I was signing up for. I am a 20-year-old girl who was in the moment. There are lots of girls my age who go out every week and do that, mine was just on national TV.’
Now Charlotte’s waded in, it looks like this debate isn’t over yet!
