Some of the Love Island stars have waded into that criticism surrounding Caroline Flack.
The former X Factor presenter was attacked for her hosting skills during this year’s series – which we couldn’t agree with less – and now, the Islanders (and Caroline), have spoken out.
First up, Sophie Gradon defended Cazza by tweeting: ‘I [love] Caroline Flack #cutflacksomeslack.’ YES, Soph.
Next, winning couple Cara and Nathan came to the presenter’s rescue, with Nathan comparing her to an ‘older sister’, and also insisting there was ‘no chemistry’ between her and Alex, after she’d been accused of flirting with him.
In fact, Nathan’s comments spurred Caroline on to break her silence on the topic herself, and she took to Twitter to have her say.
‘Thank you @NathanMassey_ and @Miss_Delahoyde …I was ignoring all the silly comments, but you two are [heart emoji]’, she tweeted.
And she should ignore them – she’s already been signed up for Love Island 2017, so who’s laughing now, eh? We love you, Cazza.
