The Love Island host has predicted that Kady McDermott and Scott Thomas might be moving *much* faster than we thought...
We were all well and truly hooked to our TV screens this summer as we watched a bunch of beautiful hopefuls touch down in Majorca in a bid to find their soulmate on ITV2’s Love Island.
Flash forward a couple of months and it seems like most of our favourite reality couples are still going strong – Birmingham hunk Alex Bowen has just made the big move down to Essex to be with girlfriend Olivia Buckland, and winners Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey just can’t stop posting cute PDAs on Instagram.
But according to host, Caroline Flack, it’s the island’s most fiery match, Scott Thomas and Kady McDermott, who might just be the first couple to tie the knot.
Scott, 28, and Kady, 21, didn’t have the easiest road to love and the passionate pair clashed in a big way before eventually winning over the public’s hearts, coming in at third place. But Caroline is now predicting a bright future for the loved up couple as she told OK: “I think Kady and Scott will get married first, and they’ll stay together, 100 per cent.”
We can see where Caroline is coming from after Scott showed everyone just how in love he is by posting a super cute message for his girlfriend’s 21st birthday last week. He said: “Can’t actually get my head round how young she is when she really does have such a strong and wise little head on those shoulders of hers!”
A besotted Scott went on: “I don’t like to admit it because she drives me absolutely nuts but I’ve learnt so much from her and I continue to do so every day! This girl knows what she wants in life and trust me she will achieve it! What a journey we’ve been on together and I hope we have many more adventures to come! I know I’m hard work so thanks for putting up with me and not giving up on me just yet. Have an amazing night tonight and il see you tomorrow you absolute. Love you lots and lots little pea”.
And 36-year-old presenter Caroline isn’t surprised that the rest of the couples are still together either: “They were well into each other, they were so smoochy and all over each other, even at the wrap party,” she said.
“I was like ‘get a room’, they were trying to out snog each other all the time.”
With pictures emerging of island pair Tom Powell and Sophie Gradon checking out rings in Newcastle, next year could be the year of more than one Love Island wedding… Eeek.
