Cara Delevingne will be treating us to her first slice of musical material as early as next year, it’s been reported. Officially excited!
Back in May, we announced that the British model had started flexing her vocals and writing lyrics as she finally indulged her dream of becoming a recording artist.
And now, it looks like 2014 could see 20-year-old Cara swapping those Fashion Week make-up trailers for the tourbus as she gears up to launch her debut solo record once and for all.
“Cara loves singing”, a source close to the model told the Sunday People. “When she was younger she would sit at home and mess about but recently she has started to take it more seriously.”
“She is a very busy girl at the moment, with a couple of movies lined up as well as her modelling. Now it looks like things will be kicking off for her musically next year.”
The pow-browed beauty’s already dipped her toe into the world of music – as well as performing on stage with wifey Rita Ora at the DKNY party earlier this summer, Cara also featured on singer Will Heard’s dreamy acoustic cover of Sonnentanz Sun Don’t Shine last month.
But with a major role in upcoming film Kids In Loveto rehearse for and a rumoured part in the new Amanda Knox biopic on the horizon, this model’s off-duty diary is quickly filling up.
Fingers crossed we won’t have to wait too long to meet Cara: The Pop Star!
In the meantime, check out her singing voice below…
