Did You Know That Love Island’s Cara Has Been On TV Before?

Cara De La Hoyde has become a household name, following six weeks of dramz on Love Island.

Because, ‘fess up, you’re totally addicted too, right?

We’ve been doing a little digging, and it turns out that the ITV2 dating show wasn’t the first time that Car’ had been on our telly screens.

Speaking to Radio Times before jetting off to the sunny house of singles, she revealed: ‘I did First Dates. I was on the second series, I was just on standby when someone dropped out.’

Well, the date obviously didn’t go too well, because it didn’t stop her from heading onto Love Island.

And THANK GOODNESS, because otherwise we wouldn’t have Nara…

She continued, ‘It was more of a set up date rather than matching me up with someone properly. He did pay, but it wouldn’t bother me anyway, I would just pay for myself!’

With rumours of their own TV show already circulating amongst fans, will we see her popping up on any other reality-style series in the near-future?

Well, before she went into the villa, she did hint: ‘I’d like to do I’m A Celeb. With my pet snake I’d be sick at it!’

>Love Island winners, Cara and Nathan, have landed back in the UK

After seeing that fire performance, we’d have no doubt.

Something else we’ve discovered is that she’s got a link to last year’s Love Island series.

Remember Hannah Elizabeth? This blonde babe was easily one of our FAVOURITES from the 2015 run of the show. And she just so happens to be Cara’s BFF.

She said, ‘One of my best friends is Hannah Elizabeth from last year’s series. I said to her I might apply and she said “Babe, it was the best thing!”‘

We couldn’t be more grateful that she pointed this fierce little lady in the direction of Love Island.

We mean, we couldn’t imagine the show without her, could you?
