Hmm... What do you think of Calvin Harris' new music video?!
Honestly though, have you properly thrown shade at an ex until you’ve released a music video with multiple possible references to their new relationship?
Allegedly not, as fans have taken to social media to share their theory of Calvin Harris’ new music video Ole possibly containing a whole ‘lotta Taylor Swift shade… Eek!
So, the theory is this- certain fans have noticed that some of the scenes in Calvin’s new music video could very possibly parallel pretty famous, real-life Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston photos.
For example, in one scene a poor ‘gal can be seen lounging around on some rocks. No biggie, right?!
Well, besides being probably not very comfy at all, it’s being assumed that this is a subtle nod at Taylor and her new beau Tom Hiddleston making their relationship public in those beach pictures.
‘Rock-gate’ is not the only possible Tay-Tay reference, however, as it’s also being widely speculated that the multiple scenes involving people sat on chairs whilst at a holiday destination could be possible reference to Taylor’s recent thanksgiving pictures.
Also, it’s notable that the colour palette of the video uses a lot of colour. And who else likes a good ol’ splash of vacay-colour in their holiday wardrobe?
Hmm… suspicious, Calvin. V.v. suspicious.
And, to add fuel to fire, many also relate the lyrics of the song to Tay-Tay and Calvin’s breakup- with the lines ‘I see online that you’ve begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend’ believed to refer to Taylor’s recent holidays with Tom.
If this theory is correct, then Calv would be another famous face to shade Taylor during the past month.
Yep, after Kimye leaked that video of Taylor on the phone to Kanye seemingly giving him permission to use the lyrics about her in his song Famous, a number of A-Listers have made a few presumed digs at Tay.
The list includes the less-than-subtle Justin Bieber, who shared a screenshot of his FaceTime with Kanye to Instagram with the caption ‘Taylor Swift What Up’. Ouch.
