Brooklyn Beckham has been sharing plenty of photos of him learning to drive in his swanky new Mercedes C-Class. But there’s a problem.
Just like most other 17-year-olds, Brooklyn seemingly couldn’t wait to hop behind the wheel and start driving.
Even mum Victoria Beckham has been lending a hand – the former Spice Girl recently shared a cute selfie of her and her son on a driving lesson, and wrote: ‘Do I look nervous?(hiding it well!) afternoon drive with @brooklynbeckham @davidbeckham X #familyday X VB’.
But it seems Brooklyn hasn’t been totally responsible. And he could be facing three points on his provisional llicense and a £60 penalty fine. Eek!
So, what’s he done wrong? Snapchatting whilst driving? Pranging into the back of someone? Well, no.
Brooklyn is actually in trouble for only having ONE L plate on display on the back of his £37,000 car, and not a second on the front. Oops.
And the consequences could actually be pretty serious.
‘By law, learner drivers are required to clearly display learner plates on both the front and rear of their vehicle and failing to do so can result in a LC20 offence which can carry a £60 fine and three points for each missing plate, which can result in serious consequences for new drivers’, a Go Compare source told The Mirror.
‘If a driver racks up six points on a provisional licence, while they will still be able to pass their driving test, if they gain any more points in the two year period not only could their licence be revoked, but they will have to pay for a new provisional licence and pass both theory and practical parts of the driving test again.’
Oh no! Posh and Becks, you better get that second plate sorted for BB ASAP.
