Billie Faiers has quit The Only Way Is Essex, after six years on the TV show.
It’s safe to say that Billie was one of our favourite girls on the series. And having taken to our screens with her sister Samantha Faiers – who was an original from series one – she’s also one of the longest standing on the reality show.
According to The Sun, the 26-year-old has made the move to spend more time with her family.
Her two-year-old daughter Nelly has featured on the ITVBe show a number of times before, but Billie wants to focus on her life with fiancé Greg Shepherd and their little girl – and they’re reportedly keen to plan for another baby.
An insider told the publication: ‘TOWIE bosses were shocked by her exit on Friday and the news quickly spread around the cast. Everyone is already mourning.
‘It’s no secret that Billie has a lot on her plate with her young daughter and marriage plans and to top it off she also wants to expand her family at some point.’
They finished, ‘…producers have told her that the door is always open to her should she change her mind and want to return at some point in the future.’
A spokesperson confirmed to Mail Online, ‘Billie has recently made us aware that she would like to prioritise family life and little Nelly for the rest of the year.’
This comes at the same time that it’s reportedly been confirmed that Jake Hall has left the show too.
According to the Daily Star, a source allegedly said that he wants to focus on his health and his fashion business.
Does this mean we’ll be seeing some new faces join the cast soon?
