This year’s Big Brother has seen its fair share of controversy, but it seems that it’s not just the outspoken housemates that are gaining attention for the new series.
Yup, last night viewers were not impressed by technical issues during the live plot twist, when the programme seemed to be suddenly taken off-air.
Things were due to get dramatic for Chelsea Singh, as he was set to reunite with a lady from his recent past, who just so happens to be an ‘other’.
But the live feed was interrupted a number of times, and the audience at home was presented with a test card screen.
Confused fans took to social media to vent their frustration, with comments including: ‘The biggest fail in #BBUK history #big brother #livebigtwist bonkers!’ and ‘I’m confused about that mess of a live episode of #bbuk…’
So, what was the big ol’ plot twist?
Well, you’re probably aware that Jackson Blyton and Alex Cannon have already been sent to join the ‘others’ in the second house.
So last night, Chelsea Singh – who had been targetted by the members of the second house – was filled in on the situation, before being forced to join the second camp.
Of course, Chelsea and the ‘other’ Jayne are connected somehow, so the audience was waiting to see what might go down between the pair.
But the technical glitch meant that most of their encounter was covered with by the sounds of birds.
A spokesperson for Big Brother told MailOnline: ‘We so apologise for some technical difficulties tonight, but you can tune into Big Brother’s Bit On The Side to see what you missed.’
