Big Brother ‘Under Assessment’ By Ofcom Following Complaints

Big Brother has landed itself in hot water already, with reports that Channel 5’s spin-off show, BBBots, is under investigation by Ofcom following a number of complaints.

The first installment of Big Brother’s Bit Of The Side, which is hosted by none other than Rylan Clark-Neal, saw guest Tiffany Pollard hosting a new segment called I Think We’re Alone Now.

The Big Brother host took the opportunity to ask the new housemates a number of pretty personal questions, and it’s safe to say that it got a little, err, rude.

The conversation quickly turned to the topic of naughty time in the house, with A LOT of NSFW questions. It seems that it was a little too hot-under-the-collar for some, as Ofcom received a number of complaints.

And, it’s 2016, so it didn’t stop there.

Viewers also voiced their opinions on social media, with one writing: ‘Catching up on #BBBOTS Finding it an uncomfortable watch. Tiffany Pollard is an embarrassment, foul and desperate #BBUK’.

Other tweets included: ‘Tiffany is making me cringe. Is there any need for her? She isn’t funny #BBBOTS’ and ‘Well over the top tonight…’

Apparently, Ofcom is currently deciding whether it will investigate and take any action with the show.

A spokesperson told Mirror Online: ‘We’ve had two complaints objecting to sexual references in last night’s Big Brother’s Bit on the Side. These are under assessment before we decide whether to investigate or not.’

This is certainly shaping up to be one explosive series of Big Brother, no?
