This year’s series has kicked off with an almighty bang, so we’ve taken the opportunity to delve into the archives and dust off some of our favourite names from CBB’s past.

Strange to think that Celebrity Big Brother used to house pop royalty like Take That’s Mark Owen.
Yup, one fifth of one of the world’s most famous boybands walked through those famous doors and came out on top back in 2002.
Who can forget the guy that brought us the Thong Song? EXACTLY.
Sadly, the ’90s R&B singer didn’t make it to the final.
But, we can still thank him for the memories.
Known for her marriage to Donald Trump, Ivana was part of the 2010 Celebrity Big Brother line-up.

In possibly one of the most talked moments ever to happen on CBB, Lee was part of a dramatic love triangle.
The former member of Blue enjoyed a romance with Casey Batchelor, but also flirted up a storm with Jasmine Waltz.
From Spandau Ballet, to EastEnders to CBB, Martin was marked a favourite to win when he entered the house in 2012.
He didn’t quite make it to the top spot. But he did keep things suave with his signature slicked ‘do and smart suit jacket.
Chantelle wasn’t actually a celebrity when she joined the starry cast-list in 2006.
If you remember, it was her task to convince the others that she was, in fact, a member of a girl group.
She and Preston became close on the show, going on to tie the knot after leaving, although they divorced a year later. Sad face.
It’s safe to say that she pretty much made the series, though, beating the celebrities to the CBB crown.
Lead singer of The Ordinary Boys, Preston also took a spot on the show in 2006.
He made it to the final, finishing in fourth place. Preston returned to take part in Ultimate Big Brother along with his ex-wife Chantelle in 2010.
Yes, this actually happened.
The guy behind Gangsta’s Paradise featured in the 2010 series.
The glamour model was one of the famous faces to take part in Celebrity Big Brother 4.
This also happened to be the same series that saw George Galloway and Pete Burns do, err, that dance.
And we don’t even want to think about the cat hands. Shudder.

They were sent to the basement and painted as the ‘villains’ of series 11.
