She sends her best wishes to Brad and estranged wife Angelina Jolie...
Brad Pitt hasn’t had an easy few days as the Hollywood actor has been hit by a string of accusations following his split from wife, Angelina Jolie.
But now one of the women allegedly connected to Brad has decided to speak out about her “involvement” in the messy divorce, admitting she’s ‘tired’ of all the speculation.
Former model April Florio was rumoured to have been romantically linked to Brad while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston, but now the American star has hit back saying she was never the “other woman”.
April, who’s now a mum, took to Facebook to set the record straight, telling followers she is “tired” of all the gossip and wants to put the drama behind her.
Speaking to Mirror Celeb, she said: “I am saddened at the end of anyone’s partnership.
“I wish them nothing but the easiest transition into their new lives and hope that the they can stay strong with a nice support system and lean on their families.”
At the time of April’s alleged romance with the actor, Brad was married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston. It was claimed the two enjoyed a romance in Greece after being introduced by pal George Clooney.
Us Weekly ran an alleged exclusive interview with April, in which she reportedly claimed Brad tried to kiss her on holiday before opening up about his failing marriage to Jennifer.
April has always denied speaking to the press, but Us Weekly claimed to have the interview on tape and claim she said: “He hated his wife’s chain-smoking.
“He also hated the fact that she liked to hang with her friends or just stay at home. He liked to go to parties more.”
It was also alleged that she spoke of Brad’s relationship with his Mr & Mrs Smith co-star Angelina and said he branded her a “goddess”.
But after Brad denied ever meeting the model, April insisted she only ran into the star briefly at a party and said she wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t even remember her.
The 34-year-old then went on American talk-show, Entertainment Tonight, to deny ever giving an interview but felt the TV hosts made her look “crazy” and that she’d gone back on her story.
Her agent Mike Esterman also claimed the model had spent time with the Fight Club actor in Greece, but he refused to give any more details about the rumours.
More than 10 years on, April is now working away from the limelight and admits she doesn’t want to be dragged into the recent divorce. Speaking to The Mirror, she said: “I am very serious about my work.
“I was then. I do a lot of behind the scenes work now in music and films because of all of that. I like having a private life. It’s pretty simple, don’t believe what you read.”
She went on: “I have an incredible three-year-old son who I want to protect.”
Meanwhile, as the family continue to deal with the shock divorce, new footage has emerged of Brad’s ‘altercation’ with teenage son Maddox on a flight on September 14th, and it’s now being reported that law enforcement sources have said it’s ‘highly unlikely’ that the star will be prosecuted.
