Talking to the Evening Standard, he said: “Having witnessed this decision firsthand, I find Angie’s choice, as well as so many others like her, absolutely heroic. I thank our medical team for their care and focus.”
Anyone else welling up right now?
He added: “All I want for is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children. This is a happy day for our family.”

Angelina chose to undergo the three months of operations after discovering that she had an 87 per cent chance of developing breast cancer. She lost her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, to the disease in 2007. She was just 56.
The A-list actress and mum-of-six made the shocking revelation in a moving interview with the New York Times today and praised her fiance for his support during the procedure. She said: “I am fortunate to have a partner, Brad Pitt, who is so loving and supportive. So to anyone who has a wife or girlfriend going through this, know that you are a very important part of the transition.”
Hello to our new favourite couple. Wishing you a speedy recovery, Angie.
