Crikey. Big Brother is getting more controversial by the day, isn’t it?
Laura Carter and Marco Pierre White Jr left viewers ‘disgusted’ when they got intimate on Sunday night’s show. Now Andrew Tate has been REMOVED from the house.
This news was announced last night – and the reason why is very mysterious.
In a statement, the show revealed: ‘Due to information Channel 5 and Big Brother became aware of today, Andrew Tate has been removed from the Big Brother house.’
As you probably know, it emerged last week that the kickboxer had been accused of posting controversial Tweets before going on the show, which led to some calling for his eviction.
However, both Andrew and BB have stated that this wasn’t the reason behind his dismissal. Although that appears to be the only thing they agree on.
Andrew is reported to have said on social media yesterday: ‘For three years they begged me and for three years I said no.
‘I warned them I’m a bad choice because I don’t take jive from nobody, but they insisted. Then they finally made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.
‘If I stayed too many people would have walked out ’cause my plans are too good and they were afraid I would ruin the show.’
BB producers have since denied this, firing back: ‘Channel 5 and Big Brother have become aware that Andrew Tate has posted a statement on Facebook about the circumstances of his departure from the Big Brother house.
‘What Andrew says in that statement is completely false. Andrew was not removed because of his actions inside the house. Nor was he removed for Tweets allegedly posted by him prior to his entering the house.’
They again reiterated: ‘Andrew was removed because of information which came to light today.’
After that, Andrew took to Twitter to claim that his departure was actually due to a ‘kinky’ video BB had found of him. Hmmm.
It’s not known whether Andrew’s exit will be shown on tonight’s show or not, so we guess we’ll just have to wait and see if more information comes to light.
