Not content with splashing her colour-laden prints all over Topshop‘s too-cool wares, the London-based designer is now preparing to work her magic on the sports brand. Pharrell, Rita Ora, and now Mary? Adidas know how to pick ’em.
The print pro will create a capsule collection for the Adidas Originals AW14 Women’s Collection including both clothing and footwear, which will be all about her signature ‘iconic, hyper-colour, kaleidoscopic’ patterns. Ooh!
‘I grew up, like so many other kids around the world, wearing Adidas trainers and I’m really excited about bringing my vision to such a global brand,’ Mary says. ‘They have a fantastic heritage and their ability to innovate in sportswear makes them the perfect partner for us to work with in this market.’
The collection isn’t tipped to be unveiled until November, but we have a feeling it’ll be well worth the wait. Swoon-worthy winter sportswear here we come…
