Unless you were living under a rock for much of last year, you can’t have failed to notice that Adele is well and truly back. Her single Hello and album, 25 stormed to the top of the charts before Christmas, and after a four and a half year touring hiatus this week Adele returns to the big stage.
Her world tour kicked off in Belfast last night, and Adele fans were not disappointed as the songstress belted out 18 of her hits with a cuppa tea in hand, natch.
As well as wowing crowds with her insane pair of lungs, we couldn’t help but notice her full-length glittering gown.
Adele has a penchant for a fancy frock and for this tour she has enlisted the help of a big brand to design her on-stage threads. Yep, Brit ‘It’ brand Burberry has created bespoke gowns for her entire 100 night world tour.

Burberry shared a pic of Adele via Instagram in her Burberry get-up with the caption: “Congratulations to #Adele on last night’s performance, as she begins her world tour in a custom @Burberrygown with floral hand-embroidered sequins”

The British brand also showed us a sketch of the sparkling design, captioning the drawing: “Wishing @Adele the very best of luck as she begins her world tour tonight in Belfast, in a custom @Burberrygown.”
Burberry has always supported upcoming musicians, and the likes of Jake Bugg, George Ezra, and Tom Odell have all previously perform at their shows.
“It is a huge privilege to work with Adele,” said Christopher Bailey, the brand’s Creative Director. “She is an incredible artist who I admire enormously for her approach to life, her sense of fun, her innate style, and her massively powerful and moving voice and performance.”
We can’t wait to see what the rest of her tour wardrobe entails…
