With the release of his latest music video with DNCE, Joe Jonas also revealed that his girlfriend, our style crush Gigi Hadid, actually co-directed the vid! Joe told Entertainment Weekly that “She’s always had a high creative eye, so she came up with the concept and we rolled with it”. The cute couple’s musical collaboration debuted earlier this week.
On that note, we are taking a look at a few other celebrity couples that have taken their relationships to a new level and become co-workers. They say don’t mix business with pleasure, but we’re really glad that these couples did!
1. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
The world’s most (Instagram) famous couple have collaborated countless times, from Vogue to fashion week, but their most notable has definitely been Kanye’s music video Bound 2. They took Gigi and Joe’s video pairing to a whole new level by starring together in the vid, directed by Nick Knight, complete with the now infamous sight of Kim naked on a motorbike with Kanye (not naked).
2. Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum
Having first met on the set of the 2006 film Step Up, the couple have since gone on to marry and have a very genetically-gifted child. But they also worked together on romantic comedy 10 Years, which Channing also produced. The real-life couple played a movie couple attending a high school reunion.
3. Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone
The married actors starred in Bridesmaids together, providing one of the most hilarious scenes in the movie, as McCarthy’s character harassed Falcone’s flight marshall on a flight bound for Vegas. The pair took their mutual comedic talent and obvious natural chemistry to the screen for the hit movie.
4. Beyonce and Jay Z
These two are the ultimate romantic duo, and have set the bar pretty high when it comes to collaborations with a partner. The ’03 Bonnie and Clyde have brought us hits such as Drunk in Love, Crazy in Love, and their sell-out On the Run tour, and will always be top of our list for couple’s karaoke duets.
