Get fit in ten minutes with this workout (yes, really)

We’ve all got excuses for not getting to the gym often enough, and most of them involve time. Well, thanks to these three easy exercises, you really can workout in no time.

Try out our ten minute workout, and tone your whole body. Work those muscles.

1. One-arm shoulder press with squat

Exactly what it says on the tin! Grab a dumbbell and hold it just over your shoulder with one hand. Squat down as far as you’re able. On the way back up, straighten the dumbbell arm towards the ceiling. Then on the return to the squatting position, swap the dumbbell to the opposite hand. Then repeat. You’ve worked your core muscles as well as biceps and legs, all in  one simple exercise!

2. Triceps press / knee tuck

Lie face-up with your knees bent 90 degrees and a dumbbell in each hand, arms over shoulders, palms facing in. Next, bend your elbows bringing the dumbbells behind your head as you lift and extend your legs in front of you. Repeat as many as you can do in the time period. Voila! Triceps, abs and hips done!

3. Lunge with a press

Stand with your feet staggered, one in front of the other. Hold a dumbbell in your right hand at shoulder height. Keeping your weight on your front heel, bend knees and lower into a lunge. Press up to standing position again, extending the dumbbell overhead and hold for 25 seconds. Repeat in sets of three.
