Break out of your Netflix addication with these alternatives for the weekend

Bored of watching the same old Netflix series in your down time? There are only so many episodes of House of Cards a person can watch after all…

Well we have some fun alternatives for you to do this weekend to de-stress. You deserve it! So we’ve got some inspiration for you.

Start a new series that’s not on Netflix

I don’t know about you guys, but I have been known to spend hours browsing the internet deciding on the next show to watch. Wow that makes me sound like a loser, but I also know all the good shows because of it. Amazing ones right now include The Path with Aaron Paul about a strange cult, Fear the Walking Dead season 2 (yep, it’s back!), The Family which is about a boy escaping from a kidnap and coming home 10 years after he was taken.

Do some gentle exercise

As great as Kayla Itsines is, and she does know her stuff, she’s not exactly promoting gentle exercise now is she. A good alternative is Results with Lucy – fun home workout sessions that aren’t going to make you feel like you’re dying. It’s a great way to de-stress and try out some new exercises you may not have thought of – such as ballet and salsa.

Give yourself a beauty overhaul at home

My makeup collection is pretty insane. But last weekend I had a big clear out. It felt amazing. But this is also a great excuse to go out and buy new products. Not that I would ever need an excuse!

Replace your old finishing powder with the fabulous Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. It adds an instant glow factor to your skin and blurs and imperfections.

Replace your old cleansing wipes with the amazing Make Up Eraser – a cloth that removes all of your makeup with just warm water. Honestly, it works!

Chuck away that dry eyebrow pencil and replace it with the Benefit Gimme Brow. It glides on really easily and will darken even the finest of hairs to give you thicker looking eyebrows. You’ll have Cara/Kimmy K/Kate Middleton (whoever your browspiration) in no time.
