Blippar is (literally) reinventing the internet using your smartphone camera

The internet is still in it’s toddler stages, throwing fits constantly but occasionally coming through with something brilliant. But eventually someone had to make the next big step with it, and Blippar are exactly that company.

Blippar is best known for creating an augmented reality app but is now extending that technology to the farthest corner of it’s potential and has raised $55 million in funding to make it a reality. Their big technological expedition is to create the world’s first “visual browser”, Business Insider reports.
