Beauty hacks: 5 product’s we’re loving right now

Here at List for Life, we are self-confessed product junkies. We love nothing more than hearing about and sharing our favourite beauty must-haves. Each week we’ll be offering up the 5 breakthrough beauty products that we want you to know about.

This week we’re treating ourselves (what’s new there?) to some luxurious products to make sure we’re feeling great for the festive season.

1. Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray

Perfect to give your hair that ‘day after washing’ feel, and make styling much easier, this thickening spray is great for a quick spritz post-shower. It’s the perfect way to start your styling process and will give your hair the extra hold it needs.

2. Skin Chemist’s Advanced Bee Venom Moisturiser

Bee venom is one of those bizarre beauty secrets that has been seeing increasing hype in recent years, with promises that it will hydrate tired skin. This moisturiser combines the venom with cocoa butter and shea butter for a softening effect that will disguise lines and wrinkles.

3. Pixi Glow Tonic

Perfect for refreshing tired skin, this post-cleansing tonic will brighten, sooth and hydrate. The tonic is great for all skin types and has a mild yet effective formula that promises to diminish signs of damage. A great product and really affordable, this is soon to become a staple in our bathroom cabinet.

4. Aurelia Cell Revitalise Rose Mask

Aurelia skincare is a favourite of mine for the subtle scent and restorative overnight products. Try this rose mask as a treat during the colder months to hydrate and sooth your skin. Apply a generous amount to your face and leave for 5-10 minutes, wash off and find your skin feeling fresher than before.

5. Jo Malone Velvet Rose and Oud Cologne

Part of the Cologne Intense range, this Jo Malone scent is top of my Christmas list after testing it in store last week. Damask rose combined with smoky oud wood makes this a distinct scent perfect for winter. It’s a distinct scent without being heavy, and is perfect for the party season.
