The mum-of-two won’t be attending a gala in honour of her late father, Robert Kardashian, as a result of her attack
Kim Kardashian’s scary robbery in Paris has affected her life in more ways than one.
Of course, being held at gunpoint by five masked men is going to make anyone reassess their life in a big way – but Kim has totally overhauled her celebrity lifestyle.
As well as completely shunning social media for weeks, Kim has also avoided the spotlight in a big way, only being spotted out twice since the robbery – once at a Kanye West concert in LA, and another time grabbing fro-yo with BFF Jonathan Cheban.
And now, it’s being reported that the mum-of-two has now decided not to attend a gala honouring her late father, Rob Kadashian, as a result of her ordeal.
The Angel Ball is taking place in New York on 21st November, and Kim was reportedly on the list of confirmed attendees alongside sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and mum Kris Jenner.
But a rep for the event has now told Us Weekly: ‘Kim is not expected to attend at this time.’
Kim has always spoken about how close she and her dad were before he passed away, so this must have been an emotional decision for Kim to make. However, we’re sure it’s the right one for her.
Despite clearly being keen to avoid any public appearances right now, it is being reported that the 35-year-old is planning on giving her first interview to NBC for a seven-figure sum, according to The Sun.
‘NBC want to give her a special with a journalist of her choice to conduct the interview, but they’re panicking because nothing is stopping her from taking a better offer from someone like ABC’, the source said.
We just hope Kim is recovering with the support of her close friends and family right now.
