Why Holly Willoughby Won’t Tell You What She Eats Every Day

The This Morning presenter says she doesn't want to encourage eating disorders by telling fans what she eats...

Holly Willoughby has revealed why she rarely talks about what she eats.

The This Morning presenter might be one of the most envied style icons on daytime TV, but Holly says the constant compliments about how she looks is actually the one thing she really doesn’t want to encourage.

Why? Because she doesn’t think any any woman should obssess over their looks.

Explaining why she’s never been one to reveal her diet and fitness habits to fans, Holly said: ‘I actually avoid talking about my diet and exercise regime because I have interviewed so many people affected by eating disorders and I know that some people in chat rooms can really fixate on other people’s diets.

‘I just can’t contribute to that.’

The mum-of-three added to Prima magazine: ‘I don’t want to encourage eating disorders. I try not to focus too much on my appearance.

‘As long as I’m being healthy, that’s good enough for me. I’m quite active and I try not to let the way I look be the main focus because it’s not the important thing.’

Holly did go on to reveal that she makes ‘a very good spaghetti’, though, so there’s that.

It’s not the first time the presenter has spoken about not wanting to discuss her body or how she keeps fit. Speaking to Mail Online previously about the term ‘post-baby body, Holly said:

‘A lot of women, and particularly celebrities, talk about this, and I think it is very unhelpful.’

‘Everyone’s journey is individual’, she added. ‘I don’t want to go on the record saying I did this or that, and then have other women read it and think they have to go and do the same.’

We admire Holly’s attitude with this one. Bravo, lady.
