We think it’s fair to say that Jennifer Lopez has been one of the best things about our January so far. While we face the grey skies and ever-dropping temperatures, J Lo has been bringing some serious glamour into our lives. But nothing could have prepared us for this, her latest (and greatest) fashion marathon, in which she debuted four outfits in the space of 24 hours. FOUR!
Currently flitting between TV appearances, screenings and previews for her latest film, The Boy Next Door, Jennifer has been showing off some amazing fashion haul, from Dior dresses to Cavalli coats. But for her 24 hour style-athon, the superstar brought us some killer outerwear, and one very sexy dress.
Firstly, we’d just like to applaud La Lopez’s decision to arrive for her appearance on The Daily Show in a dreamy, cream, fur-trimmed coat (not unlike the infamous Dolce cream coat from Maid In Manhattan– we’re not sorry) and matching mesh panel Louboutins, before she then changed into a monochrome dress coat and yet another pair of Loubs. She was also rocking a dramatic beauty change, with slicked-back hair and sultry make-up. Underneath her coat, she later revealed a plunging, pleated dress by Andrew GN while at a special screening of her new film, leaving us all in no doubt that she does red carpet like nobody else.
Somewhere in-between all these starry appointments, Jen also popped up on The Wendy Williams Show in a black peplum coat, cinched in with a gold metallic belt. And, ever a girl after our own hearts, Jenny was championing the British high street in Kurt Geiger’s ‘Sharkie’ pumps. They may be an investment at £250, but we’re loving her commitment to one of our fave shopping haunts. We’re huge fans of her sassy, half-up half-down ‘do as well. Excellent work, Jenny From The Block.
We’re sure you’ll agree it doesn’t get much better than this. In fact, Jen is giving us all the inspo we need. We’ve even tracked down some high street hero buys we’re sure she’d approve of. So shop your way to a J-Lo wardrobe, and then watch the trailer for her new film below. Happy J Lo January!
