When Cara Delevingne, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Suki Waterhouse have all worn something, it’s usually a sure thing that you need to get on board the trend too right? Usually we’d be in full agreement, but this one has the LOOK office a little torn.
Oliver Rousteing’s spring/summer 2015 catwalk was somewhat spectacular and his sheer black jumpsuits won the supermodels over immeditely. Cara donned the striped sheer flare at the end of September – not long after the show took place – and look ah-mazing.
Fellow supers Suki and Rosie weren’t afraid to be seen in the same outfit as one another, both wearing the slightly subtler wide-legged jumpsuit with sheer, pleated detail.
It wasn’t just Balmain loving the sheer trouser either, Tom Ford was also peachy keen for the contraversial trend, showing lace, black jumpsuits all over his catwalk last September.
And now the high street has jumped on board the edgy trend too. So if you’re feeling daring enough, here’s how to make it work.
If you fancy trying out the full jumpsuit, then head to H&M where their lacy black number would look just as good all dressed up for a night out as it would with flip flops on your summer hols.
If you want to go for it a la Cara, then try these serious lookalike Topshop trousers. Or opt to go all lacy at ASOS.
Missguided have got you sorted if you’re after the Suki/Rosie pick with this amazing sheer wide-legged jumpsuit. Probably the most wearable of them all, this will give your night out arsenal a serious boost.
And finally, as Rousteing clearly isn’t moving away from the look, here’s one more treat for you. His autumn/winter 2015 catwalk featured this daring black lace jumpsuit which we are just waiting to spot a celeb in. Get the look yourself in this little number from House of CB.
