Style.com have announced their list of the 25 chicest women in the world of fashion and it has made for very interesting reading. Some of our fave celeb faces have made the cut alongside industry favourite fashion editors and bloggers too.
What did it take to get onto it you ask? Well, Style.com have defined what it takes to be chic and just being well dressed does not cut the mustard – “Being chic means dressing with individuality, consistency and a hint or two of adventure.”
Here are some of the ladies who made the list (and who we should be watching for serious style inspo).
The Olsen twins – having been fashion icons since thier tween years and now the design duo behind The Row, Mary-Kate and Ashley are an obvious choice for what it means to be chic. These pint-size fashionistas are definitely some of our fave stylish siblings.
Susie Bubble – as one of the original bloggers, Susie has proven that she has serious staying power. Style.com praise Susie for managing to look “weirdly co-ordinated and even effortless” – we couldn’t agree more.
Carine Roitfeld – the former editor in chief of French Vogue knows what she’s doing when it comes to her wardrobe. Her sexy, womanly style is certainly something to emulate.
Franca Sozanni – another fabulous Vogue editor to make the list was the Italian mag’s head. Franca is described as being sensible, but sensational!
Phoebe Philo – Celine’s designer boasts a pared-down look that gives her the seal of chic approval.
Kate Moss – still one of fashion’s most iconic faces, Mossy hardly ever puts a foot wrong and has earnt well-deserved chic status.
