By far the most important part of your get-up, what’s on your feet can determine just how well you do. They need to be relatively lightweight, supportive (we’d recommend getting your gait measured), and should have enough room for a good pair of socks. So there you have it. When it comes to channeling the weather, we’d recommend investing in a cap and a lightweight rainproof jacket, too. And you’ll probably want to try running in your new gear before the big day – make it a semilong one so you can rule out any unexpected chafing. Good luck!
