We can’t stop talking about the Made In Chelsea: LA spin-off series that’s set for this summer. But we’ve just heard some awful news.
One of our favourite cast members won’t be joining the rest of the gang Stateside… Grab those tissues, girls.
Musician Andy Jordan has confirmed that he won’t be appearing in the special six-part special, telling BANG Showbiz: ‘I am not [going to LA]. Well, as it stands. I might go for a bit but I’m working right now.’
He added: ‘I missed the New York series. I have to do my other work as well. By no means is it the end of MiC for me, but it’s just very difficult. I hope they have the best time ever. I’m jealous.’ NOOOOO!
So who will be there? Well, so far, we’ve heard that most of the Made In Chelsea cast will be flying overseas to film. Louise Thompson is already in LA, sunning herself in a variety of sexy bikinis with boyfriend Alik Alfus in tow.
Stephanie Pratt has also returned to her hometown, so we have high hopes for appearances from her and boyfriend Josh Shepherd, and while Lucy Watson is currently on holiday in Mykonos, we’re sure LA will be her next stop.
The Chelsea crew will find themselves swanning around Beverley Hills’ coolest locations (will they bump into the Kardashians?! Or Lauren Conrad?) as they make new friends and get involved with the LA party scene.
‘Promising an insight into the LA social scene; watch as some of Chelsea’s favourite faces make new friends, party the night away and put their stamp on one of the USA’s most glamorous cities’, producers tease. ‘How will the City Of Angels cope with a Chelsea takeover?’
If it’s going to be anything like the Made In Chelsea New York spin-off from last year, then it’s going to be AMAZING.
Whilst in the Big Apple, we saw Louise find love with Alik, Stevie and Spencer fight over hot NY lady Billie and Alex Mytton gatecrash the party and anger both Binky AND Jamie after hooking up with his ex, Tara. Phew!
We’ve heard rumours that Stephanie Pratt will be leaving London soon – will she be playing tour guide while they’re out there? WHAT ABOUT HER AND JOSH?!
Executive producer Ros Coward, said ‘Los Angeles is a playground for the young, rich and the beautiful so it’s going to be really exciting to see the cast embrace everything it has to offer.
‘Whether they are hanging on beaches, shopping in Beverly Hills or partying on Sunset Boulevard I’ve no doubt we’ll see everything we love about Made in Chelsea but times 100.’
Made In Chelsea: LA will feature six hour-long episodes and will air on E4 in summer 2015.
