Gwyneth Paltrow may have missed the Golden Globe Awards 2015 red carpet, but boy did she make an entrance once she finally appeared onstage…
In what might be the most surprising fashion choice of the night, the 42-year-old actress turned up in a bespoke bubblegum pink Michael Kors gown, designed especially for her.
We’re used to seeing Gynweth in chic monochrome and smart tailoring, so this bright Barbie-esque hue was certainly a surprise – albeit a very, very good one.
The plunging neckline featured a clever sheer insert and showcased her mega toned physique perfectly, and her wavy blonde hair and golden tan looked fab against the bright candy shade.
The sleek silhouette of the dress kept Gwyneth’s look elegant rather than trashy, and she wisely kept her accessories to a minimum with just a slim diamond bracelet on her left wrist.
Before she left for the ceremony, Paltrow Instagrammed photo of herself standing in a decadent hallway, with the caption: ‘#goldenglobes @michaelkors @harrywinston’.
The Mortdecai star also shared a snap of her and a member of her glam squad, writing: ‘#missedtheredcarpet #goldenglobes @davidbabaii@bloheartsyou’.
At the ceremony, the blonde beauty presented one of the most highly anticipated awards – the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama, which was nabbed by Eddie Redmayne.
