Day three and we’re just over halfway through London Fashion Week spring/summer 2015 already. As always it’s one mega fast fashion whirlwind – seriously, we can’t believe there’s only two more days of shows to go after this one.
Another early start was pretty tough after a rather late night at the amazing Lulu Guinness 25th anniversary party. Think endless free champagne and lots of mingling with celebs and you can imagine why we were reluctant to drag ourselves away to bed before we absolutely had to. Thankfully, a quick pre-show pit-stop for a hair refresh by Vidal Sassoon at the Beauty Monitor Beauty Lounge was just the ticket to revive us before we tackled day three’s schedule.
Sophia Webster, Mulberry and Topshop Unique are just three of the shows that wowed us today. We’ve got one seriously long new season shopping list already, and after these three hot tickets it’s now been topped up with more shoes, handbags and dresses. The Topshop show is always the fashion crowds favourite, not least because there’s some seriously yummy hot food and ice cold fizz on offer, but it pulls in the most A-list FROW of London Fashion Week. Stay tuned for an update on who was wearing what later!
And what to wear for a day of amazing shows? Well today LOOK’s editor Ali Hall is showing you exactly how to pull off an effortless – and easy to wear – day to night look. Championing the high street in Warehouse and Asos, she’s working a gorgeous autumnal colour combo and a skirt in the ‘It’ shape and colour of the season, scoring some major style points. We love how she’s added a bit of LFW luxe to her outfit in the form of her trusty Chanel bag. Always a FROW winner. Get your hands on her Warehouse jumper in store and online now, and checkout the matching skirt to create a cool co-ord.
