Queen of the runway Naomi Campbell kicked off London Fashion Week with an incredible Fashion For Relief show and we were lucky enough to bag ourselves a VIP ticket.
The supermodel pulled in a host of stars including Jourdan Dunn, Georgia May Jagger, Nicola Roberts, Pixie Lott, Daisy Lowe, Caroline Flack and the Duchess of York to strut their stuff to help raise millions of pounds in the fight against Ebola.
And while Kate Moss didn’t show her face, there were performances from Ella Eyre, Strictly’s Bruno Tonioli causing a riot in gold lame, designer Vivienne Westwood getting carried down the catwalk by her husband Andreas Kronthaler and a hunky male model in the form of the gorgeous Rob Evans – as you do!
The celebs on the FROW didn’t disappoint either. Guests included Michelle Keegan, Bip Ling, Sir Bob Geldof and singer Tallia Storm sipping on Fiji Water as they cooed over the fabulous clothes donated by all our fave designers Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Balmain, Versace and Vivienne Westwood.
Our highlight? Katie Price rocking down the runway in an androgynous tuxedo and Pixie Lott who sported a high fashion Playboy bunny look.
Of course, Naomi being Naomi made sure the charity auction at the end of the show raised as much money as possible by refusing to let one bidder take a McQueen dress unless he dug deeper in his pocket for a cool £15,000.
So what did Naomi think of the show? “It’s a lot of fun, it’s a big party backstage.” High fashion, celebs and a charitable cause? Naomi – we salute you!
