The Final Hunger Games Trailer Has Been Unveiled

Yep, as expected, the latest Hunger Games movie looks INCREDIBLE. Much to our enjoyment, the first trailer released sees Jennifer Lawrence (playing the fearless Katniss Everdeen) leading the way in a revolution against President Snow and the Capital.

The previous teaser trailer also successfully wet our appetite, with Katniss and the rest of the District 13 clan launching an assassination attempt on President Snow.

Then the second trailer, consisting of various flashbacks showing Katniss’ relationship with younger sister Primrose, made for a serious tear-jerker, including some of the most poignant moments between the two.

Now, the third and final trailer of Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 has been unveiled, and boy are we excited.

Recently, Jennifer Lawrence also took to Facebook to reveal the final poster, showing Katniss in all her heroine glory complete with bow and arrow.

As for the film as a whole, Game of Thrones cast member Natalie Dormer, starring as Margaery Tyrell in the hit TV series, will also be making a return as the cunning Cressida, alongside Josh Hutcherson as Peeta and Liam Hemsworth as Gale.

But while the cast may be the same, we reckon the sequel may well be a turning-point for the much-loved Panem residents. Katniss and her crew are set on one thing and one thing only: to “kill snow”. And it looks like they may be in with a good chance as the trailer shows a pretty hefty number of rebels chanting: “Snow has to pay for what he’s done”. Go Katniss!

The film will hit screens in November, giving us a fair while to wait. We can’t say we’ve ever actively willed along winter, but we’re not sure we can wait that long.

Looks like we’ll have to have a Hunger Games marathon in the meantime…
