WATCH: Shop Our London Fashion Week High Street Looks

During London Fashion Week, we’re committed to bringing you the latest news straight from the catwalks, and we like to champion the Great British high street as we do so. And in true benevolent fashion, we thought we’d show you exactly what we’re wearing to see the shows, and let you shop your fave pieces for yourselves.

First up, our Editor, Ali Hall, talks us through her look. Showing exactly how to edge up a chic black H&M dress for the day, Ali wears a gorgeous River Island suede biker jacket over the top in a super soft dove grey. Ever the keen accessoriser, she adds a pair of Mint Velvet heels in the same hue, and layers on silver pendant necklaces to top off her look. And who doesn’t love a bit of leopard print arm candy? We adore this wild Warehouse clutch as a final statement piece.

Warehouse Suede Biker Jacket, £120

Warehouse Leopard Print Clutch, £40

Next up, our Deputy Editor, Maria Coole, is working classic black with a hit of pink thanks to her oh-so-wearable stripy top from Mango. This is the perfect piece to brighten up your classic black separates, as Maria shows by teaming it with a Ted Baker midi skirt, an H&M jacket, monochrome flats from Schuh and a cool Zara tassel bag. Just add a pair of tights and you’re good to go.

Ted Baker Skirt, £149,

Zara Backpack, £39.99

Chloe Jackson, our Fashion Editor, keeps it classic with a luxe-looking Primark mac and River Island Amelie skinny jeans. In this miserable weather, it’s all about layering, which Chloe knows all to well by wearing a grey M&S rollneck under a vivid red Iris & Ink jumper. Chloe finishes off with a pair of ah-mazing lattice flats from Office (coming soon!), bracelets from Astrid & Miyu, a black satchel from The Cambridge Satchel Company and a Kurt Geiger tote.

Lucy Wood, our Head of Fashion News, takes on the ’70s trend for LFW. Proving flares don’t have to be daunting, Lucy works this dark indigo pair from Warehouse which make her legs look amazing, and ups the ’70s ante even further with her amazing boxy brown leather jacket and mustard top, both from Massimo Dutti. A pop of colour comes in the form of a fun pink and red printed Liberty tote, which is big enough to stash all of her LFW essentials. Perfect!

Warehouse Denim Flare Jeans, £42,

Massimo Dutti Suede Kaftan, £165

Finally, our Deputy Fashion News Editor, Gemma Gow, works these amazing striped trousers from H&M with a Uniqlo jumper and a fabulous bright red kimono jacket from H&M belted over the top. All that’s needed to finish off this statement ensemble is  a pair of patent flats from Zara and a chic Zara shoulder bag!

Zara Patent Toe Shoes, £39.99,

H&M Crepe Jacket, £39.99

We’re pretty sure that’s the pick of the high street right there, but you might want to get cracking and fill your baskets before we beat you to it!
