Want Your Wardrobe To Look Like This Prada Catwalk?

It’s the brand responsible for more street style cult buys than Anna Dello Russo’s wardrobe can cope with (remember those car prints and the flame shoes?), and we get excited about it every time Milan Fashion Week rolls around. Yup, we’re talking about Prada, the iconic Italian fashion house that has brought our Fridays to a stand-still thanks to its collection for AW15.

The show may have been yesterday, but we’re still swooning over Miuiccia Prada’s most recent offering, which was a gorgeous confection of candy colours, sleeveless coats, embellished dresses and tonal two-pieces. There were satin peter pan collars, irresistible mary-jane shoes and printed tweed pieces galore, as well as long leather gloves and ladylike handbags that have gone straight to the top of our accessory wish lists. Disney’s Fantasia soundtrack played as the models made their march, adding to our sense of wonder, as well as representing Miuccia’s exploration of real beauty and artifice, which ran through the entire collection. Alexa Chung was FROW-side, and even she loved it so much she was Instagramming her fave looks.

River Island Sleeveless Coat, £75

There was a distinct nod to the ’60s in the silhouettes and prim skirt suits, but this collection was entirely contemporary thanks to the use of fabrics and mix of textures. And, just to prove it, we’ve tracked down some of the high-street’s best buys of the moment to help you all add a slice of that Prada perfection to your wardrobes. So when you’ve finished drooling over these catwalk pics, click on the links to shop the styles and get your weekend off to a great start.
