We can always rely on Jourdan Dunn for a fun and trendy moment and her latest look is no different.
The supermodel posted an Instagram snap of her super-stylish travelling getup complete with leather trousers appliquéd with heart and lip patches.
She’s a big fan of the patchwork look – we spotted her in a heavily embellished pair of DKNY jeans back in June and loved the look. She clearly did too and has returned for more.
Appliqué has been huge on the catwalk the past few seasons and was seen all over Marc By Marc Jacobs’ and House of Holland’s denim pieces.
The style on leather though, we think, is extra special and adds a serious injection of much-needed fun into those winter wardrobes.
If you want to emulate Jourdan’s fashionable look and slip into a pair of your own appliquéd leather trousers, then worry not because you can DIY your own.
First of all you’ll need a snazzy pair of leather joggers, we found a lovely faux example from Missguided.
And then comes the fun bit, sewing on your snazzy patches. We have picked a few pieces from My Fabrics, but there are lots of sites that do them so have a rummage around for what you fancy.
The choices are endless – whether you are after initials, bow ties, flowers or even a skiing puppy, there is no limit for the fun you can add to your clothing. So get crafty kids and make your own one-of-a-kind leather look!
Jourdan paired her stylish ensemble with some bright-white high top trainers and settled down to relax with a signed copy of Diane Von Furstenberg’s new book, ‘The Woman I Wanted To Be’ as she travelled from London to Tokyo. How cool can you get?
